Ullswater Club – Breakfast & After School Care

At Chafford Tots to Teens Childcare Services, we provide a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for school-aged children through our Ullswater Club. Designed for children aged 4 to 11 years, with the option to extend care for beyond 11 years upon request, our club ensures a balance between relaxation, play, and enrichment before and after school.

We maintain a high staff-to-child ratio to provide quality care and support of One adult per 8 children.

We operate Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, with an early start at 7:00 am and a late finish at 7:00 pm available for an additional fee.

A Relaxed and Engaging Environment

We understand that children have structured learning throughout the school day, so our Ullswater Club offers a flexible and engaging setting where they can unwind, socialise, and have fun.

Our experienced team fosters a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging children to choose their own activities while promoting independence, creativity, and confidence.

We offer a variety of activities, including but not limited to:

  • Board games, puzzles, LEGO, and arts & crafts

  • ICT resources and interactive learning games

  • Outdoor play and exploration

  • Quiet areas for reading or completing homework

  • Structured activities for those who wish to participate

 

Our goal is to create a home-away-from-home environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and engaged.

School Drop-Off and Collection

For added convenience, we offer a supervised school drop-off and collection service. Children are either:

  • Escorted by our qualified team (wearing high-visibility vests) for nearby schools

  • Transported via fully insured vehicles, driven by a DBS-checked driver

Nursery Drop-Off and Collection

For younger children attending nursery or pre-school, we also offer a drop-off and collection service. Upon arrival, they will join our Grassmere Room for a seamless transition into their nursery day.

Nutritious Meals & Snacks

We believe in supporting children’s well-being with healthy, balanced meals throughout the day. Our Ullswater Club includes:

  • A nutritious breakfast to start the day

  • Wholesome snacks during after-school hours

  • A delicious, balanced dinner
