The Earlswood Room

In our Earlswood Room, we offer a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 2 weeks to 2 years. Our dedicated, highly trained team works with a ratio of one adult to three children, ensuring that each child receives individual attention and care. The team adopts the values and ethos of Chafford Tots to Teens Childcare Services, underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and delivers an enriching curriculum designed to support each child's unique developmental needs.

Throughout the day, children in the Earlswood Room engage in a variety of adult-led and child-initiated activities, all designed to support their holistic growth and development. Our enriching curriculum includes a blend of sensory experiences such as messy play, water play, and rhyme time, which foster creativity, communication, and exploration. We also ensure that outdoor play is an essential part of their day, providing ample opportunities for fresh air and physical activity.

Each child in the Earlswood Room is assigned a Key Person, a dedicated member of staff who builds a close relationship with both the child and their family. This ensures that all needs are met, and parents are kept informed of their child’s progress and daily experiences. You will receive updates on activities, sleep times, toileting, and meal information, both verbally at collection time and electronically through our online system.

We provide all essential items such as nappies, baby wipes, and Antiseptic healing cream to support your child’s care. Parents and carers are kindly asked to provide formula milk, breast milk, bottles, teats, dummies, and comforters to ensure their child feels settled and comfortable during the day.
